Relationship Reflection

Relationships are important to me because it keeps me whole and connected. When I have people in my life that I have a relationship with, whether friend or companion, I feel complete. There is nothing better to me than having people to share your life with, your downs with, your joy with, and your disappointments with. They are the ones to keep you strong and encourage you to not give up. Right now in my life I have my family and three very very close personal friends, that I share my life with. We are honest with each other, that is what keeps our relationship positive. We truely care for one another and help each other in hard times. It is not easy developing relationships or partnerships, there will always be mistakes and let downs. I see mistakes and let downs as a chance to do things better the next time around. I would not be where I am today, without these special people in my life.

  1. Your relationship reflection shares the views I share to, and having people that we have created relationships with complete us. They allow us to share our positive and negative views and don't judge us, but allow us to be who we are. I hope everyone is fortunate enough to have great friendships as we do.

  2. You are right when you wrote "there is nothing better to me than having people to share your life with." People need people have have experience with even if it's not the experience you want. The great strength is positive relationships is that they will tell you the truth.

  3. Definitely relationships are what keep our feet on the ground. Relationships based on truth makes us see the beauty, the unbelievable and the ugly side of things even when we don't like it. Like you said, is not easy to make true relationships, and that’s the reason that we cherish them.

  4. Relationships are the tools that help us whenever things are good or bad. It is great to know that you have family and friends that you can depend on, especially during those times when things seem to go sour. It is not easy to have close friends because that takes a lot of ups and downs; learning each others weaknesses and strengths. You are very blessed to have these people in your life. This will certainly help you be a great educator.

  5. I agree with you that relationships connect us and through those friendships we share with people in our lives. We are able to support each other through the relationships we built on. As adults, we can't play as freely as children do. However, we can play with our kids. I try to wrestle with my daughter because I thought I could over power her with my height and weight, but I was wrong. She has upper body strength and her ability to over power me had has both laughing. This type of play was fun for the both of us. When my girlfriends are over, we play backgammon and have coffee, although its not child's play, its adult play and that's good enough for me.
